Village Enterprise has impacted the lives of over one million people living in extreme poverty in East Africa. Village Enterprise’s new strategy focuses on ‘scale and impact’, and the organization has ambitious goals in both areas. Village Enterprise intends to impact the lives of 20 million people living in extreme poverty by 2030. Over the next three years, we plan to almost triple the number of people we serve (from 18,000/year to 45,000/year) and expand into new countries. To support this growth, Village Enterprise plans to significantly increase its major gift fundraising efforts as a means of achieving ambitious revenue goals.

Village Enterprise’s Major Gifts Officer will join a passionate and dedicated team. The position will manage the creation and implementation of Village Enterprise’s individual fundraising strategy focused on major gifts to achieve our fundraising goals. The Major Gifts Officer reports directly to the Chief Development Officer.
